Phish Alert

Phish Alert shows realistic emails and text messages and asks you to say which ones are phishing. You rate how confident you are, then the app explains what should have tipped you off. It is my university final year project.

What it does

  1. Thirty messages over fifteen levels

Email and SMS scenarios from easy to devious, in order or at random. A review mode brings back the ones you got wrong.

  2. A confidence rating with every answer

You rate each verdict from 1 to 5. That measures the gap between what you think you know and what you know.

  3. An explanation after every message

The app names the giveaway, whether it is the sender’s domain, the urgency or the wording, highlights the suspicious phrases and gives a tip to remember.

  4. No outside dependencies

The Material 3 interface is written by hand, without third party packages. The content ships inside the app, so it works offline.
